There was a single gas station in cities across Jackson Parish selling regular gas at the price of $2.58 per gallon in the week ending Feb. 15, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
Of the 13 reported gas stations in cities within Jackson Parish, just one offers regular gas.
The $2.71 average reported price of regular gas in Louisiana was unchanged from the previous week.
Drivers across the U.S. have faced a rollercoaster of gas prices in recent months and years. Though the cost of a gallon of gas is dropping, experts suggest they may rise to $4 before the end of 2024.
