There were 12 American Indian students enrolled in Lincoln Parish schools in the 2023-24 school year, 7.7% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Lincoln Parish welcomed 5,982 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.2% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the parish.

Among the 13 schools within the parish, Simsboro High School recorded the highest enrollment of American Indian students in the 2023-24 school year, with a total of five students.

Louisiana's educational performance is among the lowest in the nation, according to a WalletHub analysis. The state was ranked 47th overall, based on factors such as class size, student performance, funding, school safety, and teacher qualifications.
