There were 35 Hispanic students enrolled in Claiborne Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 9.4% more than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Claiborne Parish School District welcomed 1,710 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 2% of the student body to be the fourth most represented ethnicity in the district.

Claiborne Parish School District roughly covers schools within Claiborne Parish and has a main office in Homer.

Among the seven schools in Claiborne Parish School District, Homer High School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 12 students.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
