On Saturday, January 13, former West-Mec - Shadow Mountain High School standout, Malik Lamin’s current college team, the Grambling State Tigers, won 79-69 in their NCAA D1 game against the Bethune–Cookman Wildcats.

The game took place in Daytona Beach, Florida. This was the first matchup against the Bethune–Cookman Wildcats this season.

The Grambling State Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Monday, January 15 at 7:30 p.m. in Tallahassee, Florida.
