How many students were enrolled in 9th grade in Claiborne Parish in 2021-22 school year

There were 139 ninth grade students enrolled in Claiborne Parish schools in the 2021-22 school year, 4.5% more than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Homer High School welcomed the most ninth grade students in the parish.

Within Claiborne Parish schools, the most students were found in first grade classes, while 12th grade classes were the smallest.

Statewide, Claiborne Parish ranked 11th lowest in enrollment numbers. It was ranked ninth lowest the year before.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
