Lincoln Parish schools welcomed 429 9th grade students in 2021-22 school year

There were 429 ninth grade students enrolled in Lincoln Parish schools in the 2021-22 school year, 13.2% more than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Ruston High School welcomed the most ninth grade students in the parish.

Within Lincoln Parish schools, the most students were found in 10th grade classes, while sixth grade classes were the smallest.

Statewide, Lincoln Parish ranked 26th highest in enrollment numbers. It was ranked 30th highest the year before.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
