The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate Dustin Murphy, Committee to Elect Dustin Murphy, refunded $500 to Charles Strange on August 4, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

According to the FEC data, the following reason was listed for the refunded expenditure: 'Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company'.
