On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Simsboro High School standout Shamarian Brantley’s current college team, the Grambling State Tigers, won 13-11 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Prairie View A&M Panthers.
The game took place at Jackie Robinson Training Complex. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.
The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 3 p.m. at Baum-Walker Stadium against Arkansas Razorbacks.
