On Friday, Feb. 28, former Simsboro High School standout Shamarian Brantley’s current college team, the Grambling State Tigers, lost 23-12 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Texas Southern Tigers.
The game took place at Wilbert Ellis Field at R.W.E. Jones Park. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.
The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Wilbert Ellis Field at R.W.E. Jones Park against Texas Southern Tigers.
