The Louisiana Tech University track and field team had seven athletes named to the Conference USA (CUSA) All-Conference teams following the recent CUSA Indoor Championships. This marks the third consecutive indoor season that at least seven Bulldogs have earned spots on an All-Conference team.
Among the honorees, Sabastian Bradley-Reed won his second straight individual title in the men’s 400 meters. He became the first male runner from Louisiana Tech to win back-to-back gold medals in this event. Bradley-Reed finished with a time of 46.65 seconds, which is the second-fastest indoor time in school history and just short of his own program record set earlier in 2026.
Jamara Patterson claimed victory in the women’s 400 meters, continuing Louisiana Tech’s success in this event after Osaretin Joy Usenbor’s first-place finish at last year’s championships. Patterson set a new program record with her time of 52.66 seconds, surpassing her previous mark set at an earlier meet in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
A’reil Williams was also named First Team All-CUSA after winning the high jump with a mark of 1.77 meters. This was her third career podium finish and her second gold medal overall, but her first gold during an indoor season.
Cobe Johnson earned Second Team All-CUSA honors by taking silver in the men’s long jump for a second consecutive year with a leap of 7.40 meters.
Both men’s and women’s 4×400 meter relay teams were awarded Third Team All-CUSA status after securing bronze medals during conference competition. The men’s relay included Rickey Williams III, Cullen Hronek, Prentice Sanders, and Bradley-Reed, posting a time of 3:11.02—the third-fastest indoor relay time for Louisiana Tech men’s teams on record. The women’s squad featured Nia Wiley, Jenaia Williams, Usenbor, and Patterson and finished their race in 3:39.29.
Osaretin Joy Usenbor also received Third Team recognition individually by placing third in the women’s 400 meters with a time of 54.06 seconds—her second-best performance this season.
The Bulldogs will begin their outdoor season at the LSU Opener in Baton Rouge on March 21.
