On Sunday, March 9, former Simsboro High School standout Shamarian Brantley’s current college team, the Grambling State Tigers, lost 13-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Houston Cougars.

The game took place at Schroeder Park. This was their third matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 6 p.m. at Brown–Stroud Field against Northwestern State Demons.
