On Sunday, March 23, former Simsboro High School standout Shamarian Brantley’s current college team, the Grambling State Tigers, lost 19-10 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Texas Southern Tigers.

The game took place at Wilbert Ellis Field at R.W.E. Jones Park. This was their sixth matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 6 p.m. at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park against Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.
