On Friday, Feb. 28, former Ruston High School standout Dawson Willis’ current college team, the Oklahoma Sooners, won 9-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Cal State Northridge Matadors.
The game took place at L. Dale Mitchell Park. This was their first matchup against the Matadors this season.
The Sooners’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at L. Dale Mitchell Park against Cal State Northridge Matadors.
