The Louisiana Tech men’s and women’s track and field teams concluded their fourth meet of the season at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The teams are now preparing for the Conference USA Indoor Championships, which will be held in Lynchburg, Virginia from February 28 to March 1.

A highlight of Saturday’s events was the men’s 4×400 relay team—composed of Rickey Williams III, Sabastian Bradley-Reed, Prentice Sanders, and Cullen Hronek—setting a new indoor program record with a time of 3:09.16. This performance broke the previous record by over a second, which had been set at last year’s Tyson Invitational on February 15, 2025.

The Bulldogs recorded several season-best performances for 2026. These included Jaitlyn Ware running the 200 meters in 24.15 seconds; Jamara Patterson setting an indoor program record in the 400 meters with a time of 53.11; Osaretin Usenbor completing the 400 meters in 54.33; Abdul Rashid finishing the 60-meter dash in 6.97 seconds; Sabastian Bradley-Reed setting another indoor program record in the 400 meters with a time of 46.60; and Cobe Johnson achieving a long jump distance of 7.44 meters.
