Louisiana Tech’s bowling team will participate in the NCAA Regional Tournament beginning Friday, April 3, as the Bulldogs face Bryant at 9 a.m. at the International Training & Research Center. The tournament follows a double-elimination format and features four teams: Louisiana Tech, Bryant, Wichita State, and Newman.

The event is significant for Louisiana Tech as it marks their sixth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Regionals and their status as one of four national seeds, entering as the No. 4 seed. The Bulldogs have compiled a record of 77-34 this season with 44 wins over ranked opponents.

Following their opening match against Bryant (58-32), Louisiana Tech will play either Wichita State (73-33) or Newman (73-30) later that day. The Bulldogs previously defeated Bryant twice this season and have split results with both Wichita State and Newman.

This year, Jenna Stretch was named to the Third Team All-Conference USA while Rachel Ong earned selection to the Conference USA All-Tournament Team. Louisiana Tech finished third in this year’s Conference USA tournament and recorded seven top five finishes during the season.

Fans are encouraged to support LA Tech Athletics through various programs including LTAC, Aillet Society, T-Club, Young Alumni program, and CHAMP fund initiatives aimed at supporting student-athletes through NIL opportunities. Additional information can be found by visiting BuildTheLegacy.com.
