Louisiana Tech bowling starts Music City Invite with four wins

The Louisiana Tech bowling team, ranked fifth nationally, began the Music City Invite in Smyrna, Tennessee with a 4-1 record after the first day of competition. The team finished the day in eighth place out of 33 teams, recording a total pinfall of 4,977 across five baker matches.

Louisiana Tech started strong by defeating No. 4 Wichita State 993-965 and then Quincy University 1,053-818. Their only loss came against top-ranked Jacksonville State, who prevailed 1,141-994. The Bulldogs recovered with wins over Alabama A&M (1,064-908) and Carroll University (874-835).
