There were 5,982 students enrolled in Lincoln Parish schools in the 2023-24 school year, 0.1% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.
Of all the students welcomed in the 2023-24 school year, 51.7% of them were boys, and 48.3% were girls.
Data also showed that Black students made up 47% of the student body, the largest percentage in the parish, followed by 41.3% white students, 8.1% Hispanic students and 1% Asian students.
Ruston High School had the highest enrolment among Lincoln Parish’s schools in the 2023-24 school year, welcoming 1,221 students.
